With a business critical need to bring on 20 professionals in a short space of time, all of whom had to specialise in an Open Stack skill set, they faced a serious drive for niche talent and their preferred supplier list of agencies was unable to keep up with their demands.

By using innovative sourcing methodologies to locate some of the top-rated professionals in the world and managing these communities by building genuine relationships with their members, Third Republic’s specialist DevOps consultant was able to quickly identify potential candidates.

With four viable professionals quickly presented to UK Cloud, two were subsequently hired. Not only were Third Republic able to source appropriate candidates rapidly, but they were able to overcome other hiring barriers such as a minimum amount of time spent in the UK, and a willingness from candidates to work in a relatively difficult location.

THE RESULT

Third Republic provided UK Cloud with access to talent that other agencies couldn’t. As a result, UK Cloud have been able to kick start their project to build their private cloud that will ensure business success and viability in the future. With a further 15 professionals to hire, Third Republic continues to work with UK Cloud and build out the necessary team by providing them with candidate that other agencies are unable to source, access or engage.
